Host Agreement
Last updated: 2026-10-14
This agreement is between you and Eventide when you use a host account. It adds to the Terms of Service, which also apply.
- Who may host. You are 25 or older and the person on the photo ID you gave. To host open homes, you are married, and your spouse is the person whose face check and photo ID were approved. One person holds the account.
- Your events. Every event is reviewed before it is published. You describe it truthfully, you hold it where and when you said, and you follow the Community Rules while you host.
- Changes. Once published, an event may change only on the same day, with the start within 2 hours of the approved time and the place within 10 miles of the approved place. For anything else, cancel the event and create a new one. Everyone going is told about a new time or place, and about a cancellation.
- No payments. Eventide does not take or handle money for events. Gatherings are free to attend. If guests are welcome to contribute, say so in the description; nobody may be charged to attend.
- Guests. You see each guest's first name and first profile photo. Use them only to run the event. Do not copy, share or keep them, and do not contact a guest through any other channel because you met them through Eventide.
- Announcements. Announcements are for practical details about the event. Eventide can read and remove any announcement.
- Reviews. Guests may tell Eventide privately how the event went. You will not see who said what.
- Reports and removal. Members can report a host. Eventide may warn you, naming the reason, decline an event, hide an event without canceling it, take down a new name, description or photo, and hide, suspend or close a host account, for a breach of this agreement, the Terms of Service or the Community Rules.
- Changes to this agreement. If this agreement changes, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and hosting after that date means you accept it.
